In the Security Table cell on the Results grid (Provisions tab), click the Lookup
icon. The Security Table dialog box appears. You can also display the Security Table dialog box from the Security Table field located in the Security group box on the Details screen (Provisions tab). Click the Security Table field label to display this dialog box.
Type a valid table number in the Table Number field and click the
button to display data in the table.
Security Tables created with baggage wildcard values in Optional Services cannot be reused in Taxes and Ticketing Fees.
To enter security information in the table:
Click an empty row in the table.
Select the Not Permitted check box to indicate that the row has a negative application. This means that an agency or location that is listed on the row is not permitted access to the data on the sequence where the Security Table is coded. If not selected, the row will have a positive application.
If there is a negative application, there also needs to be a positive application in at least one other row.
Check the Travel Agency check box to indicate if booking/ticketing can be performed by a travel agency. If checked it must be a travel agency, if not checked it has no application.
Type a carrier code in the Carrier cell. This is a standard, 2-position alphanumeric airline industry code.
Wildcard values for any airline ($$) and alliance codes *A, *S and *O (Star Alliance, Sky Team, and One World) are permitted within baggage service types A and C.
Click the down-arrow icon in the GDS cell and click an option from the available list. This lists all valid GDS and aggregator codes. If an option is selected from this drop-down list box, the booking/ticketing may be done by that specific GDS or aggregator.
Type a code, which identifies specific department titles that may perform the booking/ticketing, in the Duty Function cell. This is a 1 or 2 alphanumeric character code. Either the Carrier cell or GDS cell are required when value is entered into this cell.
Check the Airport check box to indicate that the city code in the location field is an airport.
In the Location cell, click the Lookup
icon. The Help List for Locations dialog box appears. Select a location code from this dialog box. (See the Locations topic for further information.)
Click the down-arrow icon in the Agency Type cell and click an option from the available list. Options for this cell include: Airline Specific Codes, Electronic Reservation Service Number, IATA Travel Agency Number, Line IATA Number, Pseudo Code/Travel Agency, Carrier/GDS Department Code, and Department Identifier.
The Code/Number cell is based on the selection made from the Agency Type drop-down list:
If Pseudo Code/Travel Agency was selected, the value can be up to 6 alphanumeric characters. Embedded blanks are permitted.
If IATA Travel Agency Number was selected, the value must be 00000000-99999999. This is an 8-digit code. If it’s less than eight digits, the program auto-populates a ‘9’ at the end of the number. For less than 7 digits the program also front fills the code with leading zeros.
If Department Identifier was selected, the valid value must be 0000000-9999999. This is a code used to indicate the airline department or CRS agency/department.
If Carrier/GDS, Department Code was selected, the valid value can be up to 6 alphanumeric characters. Embedded blanks permitted. This code is used to indicate the airline department or CRS agency/department.
If Line IATA Number was selected, the valid value can be up to 8 alphanumeric characters.
If Electronic Reservation Service Number was selected, the valid value must be 00000000-99999999.
If Airline Specific Code was selected, the valid values are one of the following:
