Display the Ticket Designator Table

In the TKT Designator Table cell on the Results grid (Provisions tab), click the Lookup Lookup button icon. The Ticket Designator Table dialog box appears. You can also display the Ticket Designator Table dialog box by clicking the Ticket Designator Table field label located in the Ticketed Fare group box on the Details Continued screen (Provisions tab). (The Ticket Designator Table can also be displayed by clicking Table Lookup and then clicking on the table name.)

View Ticket Designator Data

Type a valid table number in the Table Number field and click the View button button to display data in the table.

Create Ticket Designator Data

To enter ticket designator information in the table:

  1. Click an empty row in the table.

  2. Type a ticket designator code in the Ticket Designator cell. This is a 1 to 10 alphanumeric code and can optionally include a single asterisk. Ticket designators are free-form text codes which help identify ticket types. For example, the ticket designator CH is often used to indicate that a ticket was issued with a children's discount. Airlines determine which ticket designators they will use; no standards exist.

  3. Click the OK button button. If the table was requested by clicking in the Ticket Designator Table field, the pop-up window will close and the table number will be inserted into the Ticket Designator Table cell. If the table was requested from the Table Lookup tool, the table will be saved, but the table number will not be inserted into any sequence. The pop-up will remain on the screen so that the table number can be noted. To close the pop-up, click the Cancel button button or the X (Close) button on the top of the dialog.

  4. Click the Cancel button button to undo any selections or changes in this dialog box.

Modify Ticket Designator Data

  1. Click the row for which you wish to make changes.

  2. Make the necessary changes and click the OK button button. If the table was requested by clicking in the Ticket Designator Table field, the pop-up window will close and the table number will be inserted into the Ticket Designator Table field. If the table was requested from the Table Lookup tool, the table will be saved, but the table number will not be inserted into any sequence. The pop-up will remain on the screen so that the table number can be noted. To close the pop-up, click the Cancel button button or the X (Close) button on the top of the dialog.

Copy and Paste Ticket Designator Data

Click the Copy/Paste button button to copy a selected row and paste it below that row. Two rows cannot have the exact same data; therefore, you will need to change the newly pasted row so that its data is unique. If you attempt to click the OK button button with two rows that are exactly the same, the program displays a message stating that "duplicate entries were found."

Insert a New Row

Click the Insert Row button button to insert a new row in the table below the row you have selected (highlighted).

Delete and Delete All

Click the Delete button button to delete a selected row. Click the Delete All button button to delete all the data in the table.
