Optional Services
From the Services—Browse and Search screen (Services tab), type a carrier ID in the Carrier field. (This field may already be populated with a carrier code.) The carrier code is a two-position alphanumeric value. This is a required field. You are also able to search by Batch ID for your incomplete, not distributed segments. Type a 2-position alphanumeric value for Batch CI and 5 numeric value for Batch ID in the Batch ID field. Batch ID is not a required field.

Type a three-position sub code in the Sub Code field or click the field label to make a selection for the dialog box.

Selecting the All Segment radio button allows you to search for matches in any and all segments of the record.
The Optional Services application does not display sequences that have a discontinue date less than the current date on the last segment of the sequence when Hide Cancels is checked. Records with a discontinue date greater than or equal to today (future date) display when Hide Cancels is checked. This is not a required field.
Click the
button to display results in the Services Results screen of the Services tab. If no results were found, the application displays a message in the Messages box at the top of the Services Results screen.
Click the
button to clear all the fields on the Search for Services screen and perform a new search.
Once you have successfully performed a search, the results are displayed in a grid (table) on the Services Results screen of the Services tab. Below is an explanation of the information displayed in the grid.

Click the Go To Branded Fares link to open Branded Fares and to automatically run a search using the same search parameters that you used in Optional Services. For example, the carrier code, sub code, or service type used in an Optional Services search will be used as search parameters in Branded Fares.
If you already have Branded Fares open in a separate window, then system bring that window to the front rather than make a new search.
Clicking All displays any prior segments that have been updated. If you increased a fee within the last week you would see the older, discontinued segment with the lower fee and the newer segment. Clicking Last displays the last (or most current) segment. The default display for the Results grid is to display the last segment.
Searching by Batch ID can only be done when you choose Last Segment in Data View.
