User zone tables permit multiple locations to be specified, resulting in unique, data-owner defined zones. Numbers representing user zone tables may be present in Location fields. Such numbers are preceded by the letter T.
From the Record
List screen, if a table
number is preceded by the letter T in the LOC 1 or LOC
2 fields, click
the field and then click the
button to display the User Zone Table dialog box.
From the Segment
Detail View screen, if a table number is preceded by
the letter T in the
Location 1 or Location 2 fields, click the
button to display the User Zone Table dialog box.
While a user zone table is displayed, you may overtype existing codes in the Location column or add new codes in blank cells. Use the drop-down list in the Application column to indicate whether the corresponding location point is permitted or not permitted. Click the OK button to save changes.
From the Record List screen:
If a table number is not present
in the LOC 1 or LOC
2 fields, type a T
in the field and then click the
button. The User Zone Table dialog box appears.
If you know the table number you
want to use, type that number in the Table
Number field and click the View
button. Or, if you do not know the table number, make a selection
(permitted or not permitted) from the Application
drop-down list box and type a location in the Location
field (or click the
button
in the Location field to access
the Help List for Location Codes dialog box).
Click the OK button. If you are not using an existing table number, the system assigns a new table number (preceded by a T) in the LOC field.
From the Segment Detail View screen:
If a table number is not present
in the Location 1 or Location 2 fields, type a T in the field and then click the
button. The User Zone Table dialog box appears.
If you know the table number you
want to use, type that number in the Table
Number field and click the View
button. Or, if you do not know the table number, make a selection
(permitted or not permitted) from the Application
drop-down list box and type a location in the Location
field (or click the
button
in the Location field to access
the Help List for Location Codes dialog box).
Click the OK button. If you are not using an existing table number, the system assigns a new table number (preceded by a T) in the Location field.
Right-click on a row in the User Zone Table to access a pop-up menu. From this pop-up menu you can copy and paste rows, insert a new row, delete a row, or delete all the rows.
