When the Preferences dialog displays, the Default View radio button is already selected (default setting); however, if you want to customize your view for the Provisions Results List, click the Custom View radio button. Selecting the Custom View radio button allows you to select columns from the Available Columns list and add them to the Custom View list. Once you have added the desired columns to the Custom View list you can then change the display order.
To add columns to the Custom View list follow these steps:
Assuming the Preferences dialog is not already open, click the Preferences link on the Optional Services menu at the top of the screen. The Preferences dialog opens.
Click the Custom View radio button.
From the Available Columns list select one or more column names. Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click the left-mouse button to select more than one column name.
Click the
button. Your selected columns are added to the Custom View list.
To remove columns from the Custom View list, select one or more column names and click the
button. Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click the left-mouse button to select more than one column name. The following columns are static and you cannot remove them from the Custom View list: ST (Status), Sub Code (Service), Type (Service), Effective (Sales/Ticket), and Discontinue (Sales/Ticket).
Additional rules that apply to setting up a custom view in the Preferences dialog:
The maximum number of columns you are able to define is 50.
The Optional Services application retains the view last saved and presents this view throughout the active session and every time you log on to the system and select to view data.
The number displaying inside the parentheses ( ) next to the column name represents the number of additional columns grouped together. Below are the Preference selections that equate to multiple columns on the Provisions Results List display. If you select a group name, the columns included in the group will be added to or removed from your custom view of the Provisions Results List. Contents of selected groups count towards the maximum total of 50 rows.

button. Continue to click either button to move columns up or down multiple spaces. The following columns are static and you cannot move them up or down in the Custom View list: ST (Status), Sub Code (Service), Type (Service), Effective (Sales/Ticket), and Discontinue (Sales/Ticket).
Type a valid, two-position, alphanumeric carrier code in the Default Carrier for Browse field. By default your own organization code will always be the default carrier, but you may change it to another organization's code.
You must click "Refresh List" after you save your preferences. For example, enter XX as the default carrier for browsing and then go back to Browse and click Refresh. The Browse feature should move XX to the top of the list. This must be clicked even if you leave the screen and come back. There is no automatic refresh.
You can customize the first and last time fields for input to accept and display data in a 24-hour or a 12-hour clock format by selecting appropriate Time Format radio button. This customized entry applies to the Time field in both Results List and Detail View.
You can customize the detail view by selecting which tab displays (Details or Details Continued) when the detail view is accessed, per service type (Flight, Ticketing, Reissue/Refund Override, Baggage Allowance, Baggage Charges, Prepaid Baggage, Carry-on Allowance). This excludes Merchandise and Embargoes, which have only one Details tab.
Click the
button to save your custom view settings. Once saved, the customized view is associated with your User ID. A message displays notifying you that the preferences were successfully saved.
Click the
button to cancel customizing the results list view and the results list shall remain in its current state.
